Beckers Opens New Plant in India
Beckers Group, through its joint venture Berger-Becker, has opened a resin manufacturing plant in Nagpur, India. According to Beckers Group, the plant will produce renewable and recycled-content resins, a category that is reshaping transitions toward more circular material flows. These advanced resins include recycled PET, Wet IPA and other alternative feedstocks to improve resource efficiency and lower the carbon footprint compared with conventional petrochemical-derived resins. BASF Signs Agreement to Sell Silicates Business to PQ
BASF and PQ have signed an agreement for the sale of BASF’s silicates business, including assets at the Düsseldorf/Holthausen site to PQ, a supplier of silicates, silicas and derivative products. Subject to customary closing conditions such as regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to be completed in H2 2026. Covestro Launches Energy Efficiency Project in Dormagen, Germany
